Injury update

The latest news from the treatment room, including season ending surgery for two Ospreys.

Medical Performance Manager, Chris Towers, has issued the following injury update on three players, Lloyd Ashley, Dafydd Howells and Paul James.

Lloyd Ashley

Lloyd suffered a foot ligament injury in last weekend’s game against Connacht and we expect him to be out for approximately six weeks.

Dafydd Howells

Dafydd injured his shoulder early in the second half of the Connacht match and following investigations and consultation with specialists, the decision has been made that surgery is the best course of action for him. He will undergo surgery next week, ruling him out for the season.

Paul James

Paul injured his shoulder in the New Year’s Eve game against the Dragons and following a period of assessment has undergone surgery, sidelining him for up to six months.
