Speaking ahead of the game, coach, Tom Smith said:
“We are really looking forward for our first game against London Irish on Saturday and getting our campaign underway. After last year’s campaign you can see how beneficial it is for our youngsters in their development and how it bridges the gap between the Premiership and the senior Ospreys.
“It should be a good game against London Irish who have started their season really well, being unbeaten in the English championship. We are just excited to get the season started.”
