Community Education Officer

Ospreys Rugby are looking for an enthusiastic and driven person to join its Community Foundation – Ospreys in the Community.

The successful applicant will be part of a small but dedicated team, with responsibility for delivering our primary schools programme to Key Stage 2 pupils and supporting the sale of our schools ticketing team.

You will be working with the Community Programmes Co-ordinator to deliver all aspects of the programme to both children and teachers, whilst ensuring that all outcomes are measured, so that they can be reported to senior managers and key strategic partners.

The programme has ambitious targets that support the strategic growth of Ospreys in the Community.

The successful applicant will possess a good understanding of the Ospreylian Community,  combined with experience of working within the education and rugby sectors. Being able to deliver sports activities, have good administration skills and the ability to manage relationships will be key. Experience of sales would be an advantage, but not essential.  

Part of this role will also be supporting events and festivals, midweek and on match-days, and ensuring that all activities are delivered with exceptional customer service

Digital Content Co-ordinator

Ospreys Rugby are looking for an outstanding communicator and analytical thinker, with their finger on the pulse of digital and social media, to join our communications team.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the current landscape of Welsh rugby and in particular Ospreys Rugby, which they will utilise to ensure the business is communicating effectively with our digital audience.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our CRM database and will have the ability to analyse key segmentation data, interpret patterns and link information to relevant communications, leading to increased sales for the ticketing, merchandise and hospitality teams.

In addition, you will implement and deliver outstanding and engaging content across all digital communications channels; social media, website and supporters forum that are timely, appropriate, engaging and on message, to ensure Ospreys Rugby is positioned at the forefront of digital communications and help to grow the digital audience.

The role will also involve assistance with producing communications to support the strategic marketing objectives of Ospreys Rugby and providing press office and event support as required.

The successful candidate will also be proficient in Adobe In Design/PhotoShop or similar.
