Despite a 10 point deficit, the young Ospreys managed a much stronger performance in the second half. With just seven minutes on the clock Morgan Williams earned the development side their first try of the evening. With three points on offer for a conversion in this league, a successful kick can make a huge difference and unfortunately replacement Sam Evans missed kick left the gap at 5 points.

When the visitors found themselves down to 14 men after a yellow card the Ospreys East were quick to take advantage. Building on earlier efforts and developing team work, the squad worked hard and replacement Jack Deere evened the scores with a second try. Unfortunately a difficult angle on the kick meant that Sam Evan's conversion didn't make find its target and they were unable to take the lead.

With both teams tied of points and struggling to make any headway against the others defence the game eventually came down to a penalty just four minutes before time. With the Ospreys penalised, the visitors managed to slot it between the posts to regain the lead and the win.
