Dwyer to face Baa-Baas

Ospreys hooker Matthew Dwyer will line up against the Barbarians tonight for the Combined Services rugby team in the Remembrance Day rugby match at Bath’s Recreation Ground (7.30pm KO).

Dwyer, captain of the British Army rugby team, has been selected among to represent the combined Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and Army team in the high profile fixture against a Baa-Baas team coached by Phil Davies and Nigel Davies.

This year will be the first year that the Barbarians also sport the poppy emblem on their shirts, in commemoration of the outbreak of the Great War 100 years ago in 1914.  

Dwyer and his services colleague will come up against a Barbarians squad that includes two former Ospreys, second row James Goode and full back Nicky Thomas.
