Ospreylian clubs ready for Millennium Stadium

By Ospreys Rugby | 29/04/2011

The Ospreys will have representation in all three of this season's Swalec Final's at the Millennium Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday (May 2nd).

There is a team from the region competing in each final, with Aberavon leading the way in the Cup. They face Pontypridd having seen off Llandovery in the semi-final. Prior to that, the Wizards had accounted for Cardiff and Bedlinog.

In the Plate, Glynneath take on Ammanford, earning their place in the showpiece final after wins over Tondu (semi-final), Aberdare, BP Llandarcy and Ystalyfera.

The third Ospreylian club to enjoy a big day out is Maesteg Quins, who play Senghenydd in the Bowl. The Quins booked their ticket to the Millennium Stadium with a narrow win over Porth in the semis, after defeating Tonyrefail, Llanybydder, Cefn Cribbwr, Tonna and Cwmgwrach in the earlier rounds.

Everybody at the Ospreys wishes the three teams the very best of luck on your big day, we hope that you bring the silverware back to Ospreylia!
