Walker to be fit for Rugby World Cup

Ospreys Physio Chris Towers has said that Nikki Walker's Rugby World Cup hopes will be unaffected after he underwent two minor procedures this week.

The Scottish wing has been told he will be able to continue preparations with his national squad later this summer after receiving attention on his finger and knee.

Towers explained:

“Nikki has had a couple of small procedures, one to address a tendon injury to his finger and a keyhole procedure for a cartilage issue in the knee.

“He will start his rehab with the Ospreys medical team over the next few weeks before joining up with the Scotland squad to complete rehab and continue his Rugby World Cup preparations.”
