Young fans attending Friday's RaboDirect PRO12 opener against Leinster at the Liberty Stadium should make sure they visit the Family Village ahead of kick-off to pick up their FREE Ospreys mask.
Masks are limited to one per person, so supporters are advised to arrive early to ensure they don’t miss out on one.
Jonathan Thomas is one of the Ospreys players who got to try on one of the masks when they were delivered to the region’s Llandarcy HQ this week and he gave them the thumbs up:
“They look great” he said.
“It’ll be fantastic to see thousands of fans wearing the masks in the stand. Along with their black shirts it will really help to blackout the Liberty which is what we want to see every game this season.”
Chief Operations Officer, Andrew Hore, added:
“The new Ospreys masks look great and I’m sure they will go down a storm with our supporters, young and old. We are grateful to RWE npower renewables who have produced these to mark the start of the new season. I’m sure they are going to be highly sought after among our fans.”
Julia Lynch Williams, Managing Director at RWE npower renewables added
"We are very proud to be the main sponsors of the Ospreys and I'm delighted to provide these masks to commemorate the start of what I'm sure will be, a very exciting season.
“As one of the leading developers of renewable energy in Wales, we have already invested around £200 million to date in our renewable energy projects in Wales and a further commitment to investing at least an additional £1billion.
"The Ospreys are committed to working closely with their local communities, really making a long-term difference, just as we, at RWE npower renewables are. Our renewable energy projects will benefit future generations of Ospreylians and beyond.
“We also look forward to continuing to work very closely with the Ospreys, to bring to life our shared passion and commitment for supporting local communities.”
