With only 2 games left in the 2008-9 season, we would urge all supporters looking to take advantage of our Ospreys Supporters Coaches to consult the attached timetable. With the late fixture confirmation for Dragons, we've had to make some changes to a number of routes.In view of some exciting matchday entertainment for our Ty Hafan Benefit Match(our Ospreys Village Marquee with Live Music, our Happy Hour & our £200 cash draw for season ticket holders & members - see here for more details!), we have adjusted our timetable to give our supporters the opportunity to maximise their time here on that day (Sunday 10th May, 2:35pm kick-off).However, given the late confirmation of our mid-week fixture against Dragons, it is not feasible to arrange for our Ospreys Village & Happy Hour to operate for this particular game. With the majority of our supporters likely to be in work until about the commencement of what would be our happy hour schedule (5:05pm), we anticipate this will be of little tangible benefit to the majority of our fans. We had hoped to provide these activities for this match as we were initially informed that it would probably take place on Monday 4th May at 2pm. However, as indicated above, this all changed last Friday.We would underline however, that all matchday activities will resume as normal for our Ty Hafan Charity Match v Glasgow Warriors on Sunday 10th May (2:35pm). The price of a return bus ticket to the Liberty Stadium costs between £3.15 and £5.00 per adult return, depending on collection point, with a child ticket priced at just £2.40.
In our previous announcement regarding this service, Roger Blyth, Ospreys Managing Director, said:
"We are delighted to be extending this invaluable service for Ospreys supporters. We are committed to making the bus service work this season and although it is likely to operate at a loss, we are confident that in the long-term it will be a success and help to increase crowd levels.
"By providing cheap alternative transport, we hope to encourage supporters, particularly those who previously may have had difficulty getting to the Liberty Stadium, to come to as many matches as possible, and enjoy what should be another memorable season for the Ospreys."
Tickets are available to purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis from the coach driver on the day (space limited to 49 seats).
