With the success of the Young Osprey under 18's team (pictured) in winning the Army Challenge Cup a week previously, the under 16 group new that there were high expectations from them on their Team Building Course with the Army, at Crickhowell.
Once again the young men of the Ospreys Region made an impression on their trainers with their committment and high level of fitness. After a night sleeping out under the stars they revelled in the challenge of the log run and crossing the assault course , in what were attrocious weather conditions. Regional Performance Manager David Arthur commented " these players are very well aware of the high standards that have been set by their predecessors and are relishing under the pressure of previous success". The next big challenge for both the under 16 and 18 groups will be when they take on Northampton at Aldershot Army Barracks on Tuesday 21st August and the Saracens at Old Albanians RFC on Friday 24th August. The Reebok Championships will then kick off with an under 18 home fixture with the Dragons at Llandarcy Academy of Sport on Wednesday, 29th August, 7.15pm kick off.
